This policy explains how AsiaGTM collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data through this website, asiagtm.com, in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). AsiaGTM is the commercial growth partner practice of Prompt Next Group Pte Ltd, Singapore.
By using this website or contacting us through it, you agree to the collection and use of personal data as described here. If you do not agree, please do not submit personal data to us through this website.
Personal data we collect
We only collect personal data you choose to give us. This website has no account creation, no e-commerce, and no tracking forms that collect data silently. The channels below are the only ways personal data reaches us:
- Strategy session and Ascent waitlist requests. These open a pre-filled email in your own email application. The template asks for your name, company, role, what you would like to discuss, and times that suit you. Nothing is sent to us until you personally send that email.
- Newsletter sign-up. If you subscribe to AsiaGTM Insights, we collect the email address you provide.
- WhatsApp and direct email. If you message us on WhatsApp or write to hello@asiagtm.com directly, we receive whatever you choose to share in that message, typically your name, contact details, and the nature of your enquiry.
We do not currently use cookies, analytics, or any other tracking technology on this website. If that changes, for example if we add website analytics, this policy will be updated first and this section will describe exactly what is collected and why.
How we use your personal data
We use the personal data you provide only to:
- Respond to your enquiry, request, or booking.
- Send the AsiaGTM Insights newsletter, if you subscribed to it.
- Maintain a record of client and prospect relationships, so we can serve you consistently over time.
- Meet our own legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We do not use it for purposes beyond what is stated here without asking you first.
Legal basis for processing
We process personal data on the basis of your consent, given when you voluntarily submit it to us through the channels above, and in some cases on the basis of legitimate business interest, such as responding to an enquiry you initiated. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it at any time; see "Your rights" below.
Who we share personal data with
We do not disclose personal data to third parties for their own marketing use. Personal data may be processed by service providers that support our operations, for example Google Workspace and Google Sheets for newsletter administration. These providers process data on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Some of these providers may process data on servers outside Singapore; where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the data is held to a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.
We may also disclose personal data where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law, whichever is longer. Newsletter subscriber emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiry and relationship records are kept for the duration of the business relationship and a reasonable period after, in line with standard accounting and record-keeping practice in Singapore.
How we protect personal data
We take reasonable technical and administrative steps to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse, including restricting access to the people who need it to do their work and using reputable, security-conscious service providers for anything we do not run ourselves.
Your rights
Under the PDPA, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate personal data.
- Withdraw your consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data, including unsubscribing from the newsletter at any time.
- Ask us to delete personal data we hold about you, subject to our own legal and accounting obligations.
To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@asiagtm.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, and in any case within the timeframe the PDPA requires.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices change or as the law requires. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
